After practicing, me and my captain Kashaw had a dinner together and evaluate the past year on my ultimate progress.

He asked me lots of questions that I didn't expect such as what is my favorite part of practice,
how did I feel at the very first practice,
what keeps me coming on practice,
how do I see myself on the team and such.

We did a lot of cross fit and track work out through out the entire winter season and that was probably the toughest workout experience I have.
I didn't like it at all. Almost every practice I have to expect that I will be dead after, so sometimes I just skipped.
He said that "it definitely harmed you for skipping a few times during the winter work out." I agreed. :)
I don't have a strong feeling on how much progress I have made conditioning wise because I haven't played much to tell.
In tournaments over past two weeks, we rotated almost every point. Sometimes I sat out for the entire half...
Lose the intensity and desire to play after a while.
Though before that, I played a lot b/c not many people went to the tournament and I got to play sometimes the entire game...
That was just painful...I was totally out of shape, but I still think that those workout did benefit me. (maybe subconciously)

I played ultimate in high school so I wasn't intimidated the first day but I did realize that the team is in much higher competitive level than my high school.
I don't know what keeps me showing up in practice, maybe I know I love playing ultiamte tho practice is something totally differnt.
There isn't really a favorite part in practice, scrimmage-playing the real game perhaps, if I have to say. I hate the most is suicide...I almost puked once...
I see myself an unimportant role on the team.

We just keep talking, he talked most of the time coz I had a hard time answering those questions.
He commended me that I am an about...or maybe he said above average on the B team and had a shot to make to the A team.
My specialist is handler mark and need to be more confident on the field. On the long defense I need to anticipate more instead of following.
Just keep cutting or even running around can help to loose the guy on offense.
and need to bring up the intensity, he said it's his fault that not making enough playing time.
I know it's hard, there were 19 people on the team and only 7 can be put on the field.
but I did get frustrated after not being put in for a while.

Hopefully next year I will be able to make to the A team. I was really dissapointed that I didn't make it.
Now I don't really care.
It's a entirely different level of playing, however, and a greater commitement.
It's common to have a tournament that needs to drive 12 hours, the intensity of the game is also different.
I am not sure I am ready for that or not, but mantality will determine whether I have a shot or not.
So maybe I should care more?

My weakness is fieldsense, long defense, and up catches.
My strength is speed, handler mark, and forehand.

My throw is pretty solid in the rookies, he said.
but I lose my throwing ability when there's wind, and my backhand is a bit shaky. Forehand incurve, hammer, pull, short dump, easy throw...
anyway,
sectional is coming next weekend!
