I have not skiied since last time I had a concussion, so I was really excited about this trip.
The road trip was an adventure, replying on GPS we finally made our way there. We arrived at about 1.
It started fun with a snowball fight. I was glad I had
the ultimate weapon-frisbee, which I used to dump lots of snow on people with. :)
People were crazy and excited as well. For many friends of mine, it's their first-time experience.
We played poker till 4, 5 in the morning...it was not a wise thing to do if you are on a ski trip!

I finally decided that I want to try snow board. I feel weird standing on that board and didn't really know how to get off the lift,
so I ran into John who had the ride with me and I had to ran out of the trail so that I don't get hit by the others.
It took me such a long time to get down from the hill. Even though I have skied before, but it's basically two different kinds of sports.
The way you stay balance on the snowboard is quite different from skiing. I still can't figure out how to change the direction when I snowboard down to the left side.

Fall a lot, of course, but luckily didn't have a concussion this time. I was on the medium-level trail; that helps.
I changed back to skies afterwards, and when Ron, I and Ke-Li were going back to the lifts we saw Ava came down...
that was shocking...yeh...her head was stroke by her snowboard and wounded. It was pretty scary even just standing aside her without seeing the actual wound.
I was glad she was still concious. Ke-Li is nuts. She already had both arms injured and her left leg cord was still recovering as well...but she still went up twice.
When we were talking about her injurys, it seems to me that she was talking about other's legs and arms.

I am glad most of my friends have fun. I didn't ski enough and the hill I went on was nothing once I changed back to skies.
Next time I definitely will go up to the black diamond. Thinking about going back to Vermont this winter.

On the way back was just brutal. It went alrite the first two hours drive, but soon the weather condition became really crappy.
We can barely see the road in front of us, and there are cars in our group slip to the side of the road and got stuck.
Fortunately there was a puller passing by after 10,15 minutes. Getting hit by the ice rain hurts so badly. We spent our night in a motel and finally got back to Champaign the next day afternoon.

:) What a trip, but I was really tired...mentally, and in a bad mood for the rest of my weekend.
